Job Description
Take ownership of a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a small, fast-paced professional association. In this hands-on role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, reconciliations, and budgeting while working closely with organizational leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and seeing the direct impact of their work.

What You Will Do
  • Handle accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger activity
  • Prepare reconciliations, financial reports, financial statements, and supporting documentation
  • Process payroll through a third-party vendor and prepare related reports
  • Assist with annual budgeting, variance reporting, grant reporting, and expenditure tracking
  • Support membership dues, event registrations, and other accounting or administrative needs as required
What You Need
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and intermediate or better Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous payroll experience; nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities
