Maintaining Aisles Replenishing Inventory Supporting Store Standards

Logistics Associate - Standards

Summary

The Logistics Associate - Standards team member works in a fast-paced retail environment focused on maintaining store presentation, product availability, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for aisle recovery, replenishment, proactive inventory management, and ensuring assigned areas are organized, stocked, and customer-ready. While customer service is not the primary focus of this position, team members are expected to assist customers when approached and provide courteous support as needed.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Store Standards & Aisle Maintenance

  • Maintains assigned aisles to company presentation standards.
  • Faces merchandise and ensures products are organized, accessible, and easy to shop.
  • Conducts regular hole checks and replenishes merchandise to maximize product availability.
  • Walks assigned sections to identify opportunities for recovery, replenishment, and improvement.
  • Maintains shelf integrity, product location accuracy, and overall department appearance.
  • Ensures labels, signage, and shelf presentation meet store standards.
  • Reports damaged merchandise, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to Management.

Inventory Replenishment

  • Completes proactive replenishment tasks by identifying merchandise available in the warehouse and moving it to the sales floor.
  • Stocks shelves and display areas according to planograms, modules, and merchandising standards.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy and identifies low-stock situations.
  • Utilizes available tools and systems to support inventory management and replenishment activities.
  • Assists with seasonal transitions, promotional setups, and department refreshes as required.

Customer Support

  • Provides friendly and courteous assistance when approached by customers.
  • Guides customers to requested products and departments.
  • Answers basic product and location questions or seeks assistance from other team members when appropriate.
  • Maintains a professional and approachable presence while focusing on operational responsibilities.

Team Participation

  • Plays an active role in the department team by openly sharing ideas and suggestions to improve efficiency and store standards.
  • Participates in meetings, training, and development opportunities as required.
  • Complies with company, store, and department policies and procedures.
  • Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations and reports hazards immediately.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
  • Retail, warehouse, merchandising, or logistics experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience using product scanners and inventory systems is considered an asset.
