Position Summary
The Product Marketing Manager will manage all aspects of product marketing. The position will be responsible for all product decisions, marketing strategy, product introduction and aspects of product line management.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Champion products through the ITT Stage Gate Development Process
  • Work actively with Sales to develop opportunities for their product lines
  • Develop periodic tactical plans for all product marketing activities
  • Be familiar with and analyze competitors in our market segments
  • Manage product life cycles including sustaining and obsolescence activities
  • Work with Sales team to develop product pricing and discounting policies
  • Develop and publish various reports on product sales history
  • Forecast sales of new and existing products
  • Work with Controller and Operations on product profitability and product line financials
  • Business Development:
    • Market scanning
    • Customer analysis
    • Concept development
    • Business planning
  • Marketing Communications:
    • Internet and print content management
    • Trade Show coordination and content management
    • 3D animation coordination
    • Electronic marketing and lead generation

Position Requirements
Requirements:
  • BS Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
  • 10 years' experience in sales and marketing
  • 10 years' experience with Intellectual Property/ Patent Management for new technology
  • 10 years' experience with contract terms & conditions negotiation; specifically, the capability to adapt pricing and business models required to introduce or reposition products in various markets.
  • Above average communication skills for both internal and external sales application contacts
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated success in Business Development and Marketing
  • High initiative, goal orientation, execution

Preferred skills:
  • MBA Degree
  • 10 years' experience in product management and product marketing in the Oil and Gas Exploration industry
  • Experience with harsh environment materials and equipment
  • Knowledge of oil and gas market and technology

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Equal Pay Act Range
Annual salary range is from $132,600 to $198,200 plus benefits & incentive plan.
