Product Manager - Defense & Government Apparel
Join a dynamic team as a Product Manager leading the development and strategy of high-performance Military and Government apparel products. In this critical, newly created role, you will translate market insights and end-user feedback into innovative product solutions, ensuring compliance with military standards and fostering growth across the defense sector. Your expertise will directly influence product lifecycle management, cross-functional collaboration, and the future of tactical clothing and PPE offerings in a fast-paced, impactful environment. Location: Remote
Salary: $85-100K plus bonus
 

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years in product management, product development, or marketing within B2B or B2C, preferably in military, defense, or apparel sectors
  • Deep understanding of military, tactical gear, or PPE product lifecycle from concept to market
  • Proven ability to collaborate across sales, design, sourcing, manufacturing, and leadership teams
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and market-back approach to product development
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% for field visits, trade shows, and customer engagement

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience managing products with military approvals (Berry Amendment, NIR, FR)
  • Familiarity with military modernization trends and procurement processes
  • Advanced certifications or training related to defense or technical apparel

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (experience more critical)
  • Prior military service or industry-specific certifications appreciated
