ABOUT THE ROLE 

Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, is

hiring Production Associates at our headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan. In this role, you'll

help manufacture high-quality, defect-free products that exceed customer expectations

while working in a safety-first, team-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Plant Supervisor, with eligibility for a safety bonus.

Base pay rate is $19 per hour with $1 per hour shift differentials possible depending upon shift.

CURRENT SHIFTS & OPENINGS

EXCEPTIONAL Metals

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: Saturday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Plastatech

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Make high quality products, free of defects, to fulfill customers' needs and expectations
  • Learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate production equipment and learn manufacturing procedures
  • Accurately complete all required production paperwork
  • Attend and participate in scheduled Company meetings including all plant, production, and safety meetings
  • Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies

       in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required

Required Work Experience:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary
  • Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection

       Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be

       clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
