Job description

Production Supervisor – Adecco Client

Adecco is partnering with a leading food manufacturing client to identify an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of 30+ employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on employee safety, product quality, production performance, and team development. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with manufacturing experience and a solid mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of 30+ production employees, including coaching, training, performance management and employee engagement.

  • Ensure daily production goals, quality standards and on-time production plans are achieved.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, food safety and sanitation requirements.

  • Monitor production performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and other departments to keep production running efficiently.

  • Coordinate with Maintenance to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime.

  • Conduct daily floor reviews, communicate production results and ensure effective shift handoffs.

  • Support new product launches, process improvements and team development.

  • Maintain a positive, accountable and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of leadership experience OR

  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in manufacturing OR

  • 2+ years of U.S. military leadership experience.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and coach employees.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

  • Manufacturing experience required; food processing or packaging experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience with GMP, food safety, quality, Lean/Continuous Improvement or TPM is a plus.

  • Supply Chain or Inventory Control experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and around cold, wet and varying temperatures.

  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends and adjust shifts as business needs require.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000/year
