Production Assembler II
Position Type:ย Full-Time, On-Site
Job Function:ย Manufacturing
Schedule:ย 9/80 work schedule (9-hour days Mondayโ€“Thursday, alternating Fridays off; working Fridays are 8 hours)

Job Summary

The Production Assembler II is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to produce subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units. This role involves fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts to meet strict tolerances and operational requirements. The assembler may also repair or rework units that do not meet specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain assembly stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and established manufacturing procedures
  • Assemble units usingย hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure compliance with tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
  • Repair, rework, or refit parts or units that fail testing or tolerance requirements
  • Accurately complete daily assembly and production records
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing protocols

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2โ€“4 years of relevant assembly experience
  • Vocational or Technical Training preferred
  • Previous experience with one or more of the following:
  • Mechanical or electromechanical assembly
  • Calibration and component installation
  • Soldering
  • Troubleshooting and functional testing
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
