Job Overview
This position is responsible for the planning and control of manufacturing scheduling activities for Healthmark's Manufacturing, Production and Assembly Departments.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Complete daily execution of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities for both manufactured and purchased material.
  • Plan production schedules to meet forecasted and sales demand while taking capacity and priority into consideration.
  • Create and schedule manufacturing orders in the ERP system.
  • Work closely with departments to actively manage their schedules and carry out the plans.
  • Recognize production limitations/constraints and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Monitor components, work in process (WIP) and finished goods inventories and take action as needed.
  • Ensure optimal levels of components are delivered on- time.
  • Establish and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and routing data within the ERP system.
  • Analyze and act on status and performance metrics.
  • Support enhancements to the production planning process.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams with goals of safety improvement, quality enhancements, cost reductions, process improvements, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent record-keeping abilities and possesses great attention to detail.
  • Good to excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience working with an ERP System; SAP a plus.
  • Plan production schedules, monitor performance and report on status.
  • Ensure planning data is setup and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively to all internal parties and build lasting partnerships and relationships.
  • Analyze and solve problems.
  • Use of computer and handheld scanner.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Material Logistics Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years production planning, purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties.

Quality Requirements:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
  • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
  • Ability to work seated for extended periods of time
