Laboratory Technician - Production & Stimulation Delivery (PSD)
Location: Strasburg, OH, 44680 - United States | $18-$22/HR | Job Code: 82150212
About the Role
Join our high-impact team as a Laboratory Technician, playing a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable Production & Stimulation Delivery (PSD) services. Work alongside industry experts in a collaborative, onshore field environment, where your contributions drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction. This opportunity offers hands-on training, exposure to cutting-edge laboratory practices, and clear paths for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory testing and quality assurance for customer jobs, ensuring service deliverables are accurate, complete, and on schedule
- Perform advanced additive selection and fluid design, supporting optimal product performance
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment while ensuring proper waste disposal and safety compliance
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, laboratory reports, and risk assessments for each assignment
- Deliver technical presentations to internal teams and external customers
- Conduct regular laboratory audits to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
- Support Design/Technical Engineers and Product Champions with technical expertise and troubleshooting
- Participate in Service Quality Meetings, contributing to ongoing performance improvement initiatives
- Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiency
- Adhere to all HSE policies, wear required PPE, and complete ongoing safety training
Required Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of laboratory or technical work experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills-written and verbal
- Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced additive selection
- Exposure to technical report writing and presentations
- Familiarity with laboratory audits and compliance standards
