Position Overview:
The Production Process Operator I will be responsible for assisting the manufacturing process by loading raw materials, operating packing and packaging machinery, and utilizing applicable hand tools to weigh, prepare, blend, and package specific ingredients into finished products, while working in varying temperature environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production equipment to generate finished packages following standard operating procedures and performing daily cleaning activities.
  • Retrieve raw materials and packing supplies as needed, apply labels to containers, operate various automatic and manual packaging machines, scales, printing devices, pallet jacks and other material handling work and equipment
  • Handle rework in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area by efficiently using various hand tools and equipment such as push brooms, mops, floor sweepers, cleaning chemicals, trash receptacles, etc.
  • Read and follow daily production schedule and instructions.
  • Be able to work independently and complete assigned work in multiple locations throughout the production area and tower levels without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn how to operate filling and packaging machinery at an operator level.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn multiple production roles in the tower by filling raw materials, operating electric cranes, and utilizing the hand-add station.
  • Other duties as required.
