Effective production planning helps to minimize costs, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity within a manufacturing environment.

What are the main challenges production planners face when balancing supply and demand, and how can they address them?

Production planners often encounter challenges such as sudden changes in customer demand, supply chain disruptions, and limited production capacity. To address these, they must closely monitor inventory levels, maintain strong communication with suppliers and other departments, and utilize forecasting tools to anticipate fluctuations.
