Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Production Operator - 2nd Shift at our Mundelein, Illinois manufacturing facility. In this entry-level manufacturing role, you will operate production equipment, inspect parts for quality, complete basic equipment adjustments, and support safe, consistent production.

  • Location: Mundelein, IL

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM

  • Pay: $19.50/hour

  • Other Compensation: $2.50 shift differential

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

  • Overtime: Regular overtime is expected.

What You'll Do as a Production Operator
  • Operate assigned production equipment according to established work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.

  • Monitor equipment and production processes to support consistent output and product quality.

  • Inspect parts and finished products to confirm they meet quality specifications.

  • Perform basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting to help maintain production.

  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions.

  • Read and interpret work instructions, process documentation, and basic blueprints as required, and accurately record production information.

  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with 5S standards; identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards.

  • Follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality procedures and support material-handling and production activities as needed.
