Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - Production Operations to join their team.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor - Production Operations will lead and coordinate maintenance personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. This role includes managing maintenance schedules, overseeing procurement of parts and services, and providing technical expertise for complex equipment troubleshooting.
Responsibilities Of The Maintenance Supervisor - Production Operations
  • Act as the primary liaison for all equipment-related issues, disruptions, and repair prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance staff and planners to guarantee adequate coverage for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for process disturbances and equipment failures, dynamically adjusting maintenance priorities to reduce downtime.
  • Facilitate daily safety briefings and actively promote adherence to all plant safety protocols.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance personnel, ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Support the development and execution of project plans and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings to provide updates on maintenance status and challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of plant assets to optimize maintenance efficiency.
  • Ensure maintenance teams are equipped with necessary tools and coordinate timely parts availability with inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, engineers, coordinators, and management regarding repair progress and manpower allocation.
  • Assist in preparation and response for internal and external audits related to maintenance activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement of safety procedures, incident investigations, and updates to maintenance-related protocols.
  • Oversee timekeeping and overtime management using UKG software.
Required Experience/Skills For The Maintenance Supervisor - Production Operations
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance for candidates without a degree.
  • Proficient knowledge of industrial maintenance methodologies such as PM, PdM, CMMS, RCM, and TPM.
  • Strong grasp of engineering principles and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively coordinate, train, and motivate hourly employees and contractors.
  • Excellent verbal and technical communication skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to team leadership.
