Production Supervisor

Location: Quincy, WA

M- F (Day Shift)

Are you an engineering professional looking to grow your leadership career right here in the Columbia Basin? We are seeking a driven Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations in Quincy, WA. In this role, you will be the frontline leader responsible for our plant's core metrics. Your day-to-day decisions will directly impact our total tons produced, operating efficiency, product quality, environmental compliance, and most importantly, the safety of our personnel and equipment.

If you have a degree in Engineering and want to ditch the long city commute for a high-impact role in your own backyard, this is your opportunity. You will apply your technical knowledge and leadership skills to drive operational excellence, mentor a dedicated local crew, and oversee the production of our diatomaceous earth products.

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Empower: Direct the daily operations of laborers, operators, and maintenance staff. You will provide training, support, and constructive performance feedback to ensure your crew meets overall plant objectives.

  • Drive Productivity: Execute the production plan, prioritize tasks, and efficiently utilize resources to hit our production rate and packaging targets.

  • Solve Problems Fast: Act as the first line of defense when production is interrupted. You will overcome roadblocks quickly, direct shift maintenance personnel to make immediate repairs, and escalate major issues to management.

  • Manage Quality Control: Monitor the direct manufacturing and packaging process, which includes preparing and completing hands-on lab sample analyses.

  • Champion Safety: Conduct thorough workplace inspections in your assigned area and empower your employees to do the same. You will also respond promptly to any concerns brought forward by your team.

  • Track & Report: Maintain accurate computerized data entry for production reports, time tracking, quality control management, and shift performance documentation.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) is strongly preferred. We are looking for candidates who can apply their degree to real-world manufacturing challenges. (Minimum requirement: High school diploma or equivalent).

  • Experience: At least three (3) years of related manufacturing experience, including direct supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

  • Local Roots: A strong desire to work locally and commute easily to our Quincy, WA facility.

The Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is an active, on-the-floor leadership role in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Active Leadership: You will frequently walk the production floor and navigate various levels of the plant to stay closely connected with your team and the equipment.

  • Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, crouch, reach, speak, hear, write, and safely use machinery.

  • Industrial Elements: Expect exposure to industrial elements such as dust, heat, and noise. You will lead by example by consistently wearing and maintaining all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 (without degree)
