Job Title: Cable Tray Lead
Division: Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) Reports To: OSM Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cable Tray Lead is responsible for leading employees in the cable tray production area while working alongside the crew. This position is responsible for meeting daily production goals, ensuring cable tray assemblies made from Unistrut are completed according to production requirements, following established quality procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and work alongside employees in the cable tray production area.
  • Assign daily work and organize employees to meet production requirements.
  • Assemble cable tray systems using Unistrut and related components.
  • Follow drawings, work instructions, and production requirements.
  • Verify dimensions, connections, and completed cable tray assemblies for accuracy.
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments to keep work on schedule.
  • Follow established quality procedures and correct problems when identified.
  • Monitor material usage and help minimize waste.
  • Train and assist employees with proper assembly procedures and equipment operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate production issues, material shortages, or delays to the Production Manager.
  • Coordinate completed work with other OSM production areas as needed.
  • Follow all EZARC safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or construction experience preferred.
