Job description

SERVPRO Team Fox – New Jersey & New York

SERVPRO Team Fox is seeking an experienced Large Loss Production Manager to join one of the largest SERVPRO franchise operations in New Jersey and New York.

This is not an entry-level restoration position. We are looking for a proven restoration professional who has experience managing large commercial water, fire, storm, and catastrophic losses from initial mobilization through completion.

The Large Loss Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating manpower, equipment, subcontractors, documentation, safety, and daily production on complex projects. You must be comfortable taking control of a large loss, developing a production plan, and leading multiple crews in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large commercial water, fire, storm, and catastrophic restoration projects
  • Respond to and mobilize for emergency large-loss projects throughout New Jersey, New York, and surrounding markets
  • Develop and execute daily production plans based on the scope of work and project priorities
  • Coordinate and manage multiple crews, crew chiefs, subcontractors, temporary labor, and specialty vendors
  • Determine manpower and equipment requirements for large projects
  • Coordinate deployment of air movers, dehumidifiers, desiccants, generators, temporary power, containment, air filtration, and other large-loss equipment
  • Conduct daily jobsite meetings and assign responsibilities to production teams
  • Monitor production, job progress, drying conditions, equipment utilization, and project schedules
  • Ensure accurate daily documentation, photographs, moisture readings, equipment logs, labor records, and job notes
  • Communicate professionally with property owners, facility managers, adjusters, consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders
  • Identify changes in scope and communicate potential supplemental work to the project team
  • Maintain strong cost controls while ensuring projects are properly staffed and completed efficiently
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with SERVPRO standards, IICRC standards, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures
  • Perform quality-control inspections throughout the project
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
  • Be available for emergency response when significant commercial losses occur

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of restoration industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing large commercial restoration losses
  • Strong knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, fire restoration, demolition, containment, and commercial restoration procedures
  • Experience managing multiple crews and significant manpower on active jobsites
  • Strong understanding of commercial drying equipment and temporary power requirements
  • Ability to read scopes, estimates, floor plans, and project documentation
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers, insurance professionals, consultants, and senior management
  • Proficient with restoration documentation and job-management technology
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as projects require

Preferred Qualifications

  • IICRC certifications including WRT, ASD, AMRT and/or FSRT
  • Large Loss or CAT response experience
  • Experience with Xactimate
  • Experience with commercial desiccant drying and large temporary power setups
  • OSHA training
  • Experience managing multi-story residential, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, institutional, or other large commercial losses
