Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Production Manager / Water in Denver, CO for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $120,000 to $135,000 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with corporate and project safety program requirements.
  • Responsible for managing production planning and implementation of all production processes.
  • Communicates production metrics and project information in a timely fashion to project team members.
  • Engage with project team and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project scope, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction to ensure project success.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of the company’s employees through performance reviews and be able to identify employee training needs through implementation of a training matrix.
  • Supervise receiving, batching, and staging of materials.
  • Ensure the shop and yard are always safe, clean and organized.
  • Hold required safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Engage in productive and mutually agreeable conflict resolution with vendors, subcontractors, and customer as needed.
  • Maintains project records including, daily reports, activity reports, production reports, schedules, equipment maintenance, and shop documentation.
  • Assist project management with schedule preparation and short interval planning, including logic and resource/budget allocation, labor resource charts and provide updates as required.
  • Coordinate regular quality control inspections on all assigned projects.
  • Identify, document and ensure any required corrective measures are addressed and implemented in timely manner.
  • Understand customer needs, be a proactive customer liaison, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Execute, supervise and maintain CAD, Prefabrication, Material and Installation (CPMI) processes.
  • Provides high-level input on productivity and efficiency improvement strategies and implements approved strategies.
  • Create and maintain production schedules on assigned projects.
  • Monitor progress, performance and quality of work for Subcontractors and vendors.
  • Review, analyze, and update Productivity tracking and units of measure reports with project management on regular basis.
  • Provide required training, mentoring, coaching and leadership for shop personnel.
  • Participate in company provided training.
  • Ensure accurate and complete cost coding of time entry on a daily basis.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent management, process, production and leadership skills.
  • Makes decisions independently and performs daily activities with minimal supervision.
  • Superintendents must have strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively lead their teams and ensure project success.
  • Requires advanced knowledge and expertise in the techniques, equipment and systems relative to their assigned projects, scope and function.
  • Applies diversified knowledge of applicable principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
  • College/University graduate with 7 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises  
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.  
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
