Job description

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety and quality initiatives by identifying hazards, ensuring equipment operates safely, and maintaining compliance with all production and product specifications

  • Oversee daily production operations, including staffing, shift transitions, equipment readiness, process control, and policy enforcement to maximize efficiency

  • Plan and execute equipment changeovers with minimal downtime and material waste, while coordinating closely with maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow

  • Lead equipment cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance support activities to ensure operational reliability and compliance with food manufacturing standards

  • Develop and support employees through training, performance oversight, and continuous communication, while ensuring coverage for staffing needs and maintaining production targets

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business or a related field is advantageous

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Strong background in line production operations with hands-on manufacturing exposure

  • Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes

  • Familiarity with wrapping and packaging equipment is a plus; comfortable using computer-based systems and applications
