Production Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and support a high-performing production team. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance while developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about building strong teams and achieving operational excellence.

Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt

Shift – Third shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily production activities to meet operational, quality, safety, and cost targets.
  • Develop, coach, and engage production employees to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Foster positive employee relations and maintain compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, employment laws, and company policies.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, ASME, customer, and other applicable standards and certifications.
  • Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, PTO, training, and skill development programs.
  • Utilize performance management processes to establish goals, provide feedback, and support employee development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular operational reports to leadership.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, inclusion, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field with 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience; OR
  • Associate degree in a manufacturing-related field with 5+ years of supervisory experience, including experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment; OR
  • 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing

Preferred

  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Stainless steel tube manufacturing operations experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing training or experience.
