Production Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Production Manager to support and enhance manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with the ability to plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and team development.
Location: Prospect Heights, IL
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $80,000-$95,000
Duties:
  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to meet output goals and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate production performance to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow and alignment with company goals.
  • Enforce and maintain quality control standards to ensure product consistency and compliance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges efficiently.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency with production management systems and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
