Your role
As a Production Manager, your mission is to lead all production activities related to adhesive dispensing equipment and tooling. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Manager drives operational excellence through employee development, continuous improvement, production planning, and cross-functional collaboration. You will report to the Operations Manager, ADH.
You will
    • Direct and oversee daily production operations for adhesive dispensing equipment and related assemblies.
    • Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
    • Monitor workflow, material availability, and labor allocation to meet customer requirements.
    • Lead daily production meetings and communicate priorities across the production team.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Production Team Leads, Technicians, and Operators.
    • Conduct performance management activities including goal setting, training, and employee development.
    • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and company quality requirements.
    • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
    • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and Atlas Copco standards.
    • Promote a strong safety-first culture throughout the production department.
    • Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
      • Productivity
      • On-Time Delivery
      • Quality Performance
      • Rework Rates
      • Labor Efficiency
      • Safety Metrics
    • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
    • Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and Service teams.
    • Support project execution from release through shipment.
    • Participate in production readiness reviews and new product introductions.
    • All other duties, as assigned.
To succeed, you will need

    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
    • Minimum 2 years managing or supervising teams in a production environment.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly operations.
    • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Experience in capital equipment manufacturing or automation systems.
    • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
    • Project management experience.
    • Knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and software-integrated equipment.
