Job description

As Production Supervisor, you will partner with the Production Manager in providing direction and oversight to the production team members.
Responsibilities include:
  • Communicate operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.
  • Assist with hiring, training and coaching.
  • Motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the processes.
  • Utilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotas
  • Rotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several jobs as necessary
  • Monitor performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeeping
  • High energy level, strong leadership skills, independent thinker
  • Maintain clean work environment

Education, Experience, Training Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with a big box chain.
  • Consumer retail or thrift businesses preferred
  • 2 years or more of managing teams through goal setting, productivity measurements and achieving targeted results
