POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Plant Manager is a mission critical role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. He/she will be responsible for all processing staff, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updated, industry news, and product information. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing all departments of our processing operations.
Oversees and manages personnel to perform all the tasks necessary to process extraction and production of various formulated products. The Plant Manager helps to oversee and maintain quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including monitoring all departments listed above and their daily activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in overseeing and managing all processing employees to perform the tasks necessary to process and get ready for market
  • Ensure production, creating, reviewing, and adhering to production schedule; studying and clarifying specifications; calculating processing requirements
  • Compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Assure that the production schedule and manpower requirements are properly met and monitored
  • Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the laboratory, and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Will be monitoring and guiding the extraction, batching, lab, processing, and maintenance departments
  • Develop effective relationships with all departments throughout the company
  • Proactively pursue professional growth opportunities
  • Responsible for ensuring equitable treatment of all employees within a business context

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proper and safe handling of disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes
  • Capabilities with our computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories, recordkeeping procedures
  • Through understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations
  • Effective time-management practices are implemented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Must have a deep understanding of mechanics and functions to maintain climate control system
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through change and challenge the status quo
  • Strong consultative and partnership skills
  • Excellent computer skills, MS office and email proficiency

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50lbs. to a minimum height of five feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp , turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hold, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while earing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft. or more in a day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, ect. (moderate noise)

WORK SCHEDULE
  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
