What You'll Get to Do

The Production Manager is focused on driving plant operations.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detailed, organized, and a self-starter.  A vital member of the Production Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Manage labor effectively for entire shift
  • Drive plant operations and continuous improvement  
  • Work closely with all departments to achieve plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety, environment, people, quality, responsiveness, and cost
  • Ensure that all personnel, prior to the start of shift, are wearing the correct safety equipment and that safety awareness is maintained throughout the shift
  • Ensure that all safety and incident reporting procedures are followed as well as all individuals are properly trained and their job functions are being performed correctly

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing, preferably in non-climate-controlled environments
  • Possess a working knowledge of TPS concepts e.g. work place organization/5S, root cause analysis
  • Understands production planning concepts - able to plan, allocate resources, manage production and coordinate people and equipment
