Job description

Production Operator
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $22/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
-The Production Operator is responsible for performing coating operations, product assembly, and providing associated production support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
-Efficiently perform production operations according to Work Instructions (Standard Operating Procedures)
-Set up and operate coating equipment, ensuring proper application and adherence to process specifications
-Assemble product components accurately and efficiently to meet production and quality standards
-Perform in-process monitoring and recording of product quality
-Report deviations in product from established standards to the appropriate personnel
-Follow safe work practices and good housekeeping standards, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents
-Make recommendations for continuous improvement to processes and procedures
-Use basic hand and power tools to complete production tasks
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Take on other duties within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
-High school diploma or GED
-Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
-Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures
-Basic proficiency with hand and power tools
-Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality monitoring and reporting
-Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
-Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
