Job description

Needs extensive automotive sales experience. Requires mature person with proven business judgment, capable of representing the company to customers and community.

An in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the organization, its products and people is required.

Must be a good communicator and have demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and develop people.

Must be an action oriented person with strong organizational and planning abilities.

Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience in automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer accounts that are specifically assigned to him to achieve maximum profitable business, short and long term.

Has the responsibility for successful and smooth implementation of sales plans.

May be assigned as a direct line manager for account managers.

Reviews performance of account managers and staff that support the assigned customers

Determines account management assignments and staffing within the customer base.

Advises management of the status of negotiations in that customer base and proposes solutions.

Assures adequate feedback of information needed for pricing decisions. Supports and recommends pricing positions as established by the management.

Reports on overall business situation and activities including customer interface, program teams, and technical staff.

Identifies root causes of customer complaints, identifies possible solutions and within the scope of the assignment decided and implements corrective actions.

Contributes to the marketing strategy and objectives.

Reviews and approves commercial proposals generated by account/program managers.

Support the safety and environmental programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and maintain compliance as well as ISO 14000 registration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. business, marketing, finance, economics, engineering). Must have 3-5 years experience working directly with Asian OEMs, specifically Honda, Nissan and Toyota.
