Job Description Summary
Interact with Managers, Manufacturing Specialists to assess requirements and provide needed materials and direction for the purpose of assisting employees to safely maintain equipment to make product that meets the Customer's expectations at levels of productivity that meet or exceed the established plan.
Job Description:
REPORTS TO
Directly to the Machine Line Maintenance Manager and the Machine Line Maintenance Team Leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Notify Manager and ML Maint Mgr or ML Maint TL when tasks are complete in the event a change has taken place in the process
  • Rotate with other Maintenance Specialists to the appropriate operation and/or crews
  • Facilitate communications between crews
  • Coordinate and plan changes for minimum disruption at required operations
  • Performs maintenance activities. Instrumental to this task is the implementation and continuous improvement of a preventative maintenance program
  • Shares responsibility with engineering and quality groups in ensuring reliability and capability of production equipment and supporting systems
  • Participates in the on-going training efforts of the manufacturing organization to ensure that the skill level exists to meet demand of existing and emerging technologies
  • Assists in performing monthly, quarterly and annual equipment downtime status and action plan
  • In addition to the above responsibilities, this position is responsible for any and all tasks assigned

Required Skills and Education
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Automated Manufacturing or Electricity preferred or equivalent work experience in the Maintenance function

EXPERIENCE
  • Two (2) years experience in maintenance/manufacturing operations (4 years' experience preferred)
  • A basic knowledge of machining line systems to include all applicable maintenance disciplines
  • Allen Bradley, Siemens and or Fanuc system controls expertise preferred
