People Finders Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker for a manufacturing facility in Brampton, Ontario.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who is confident operating both Counterbalance and Reverse Crown Reach forklifts and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will perform a combination of forklift operation, material handling, order preparation, and general warehouse duties while following all required safety procedures.

Position Details
Job Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker
Location: Brampton, ON – Dixie/Steeles area
Shift: Day Shift – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. OR 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (TBD)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time Only – No part-time positions available
Start Date: TBD

About the Role
The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and material-handling duties, including operating Counterbalance and Reverse Crown Reach forklifts.
The role also involves physically demanding warehouse and production tasks. All forklift and warehouse operations must be completed in accordance with established safety procedures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and place incoming products in designated stocking areas
  • Deliver and route materials to other departments using appropriate material-handling equipment
  • Safely operate Counterbalance and Reverse Crown Reach forklifts
  • Retrieve various products and materials throughout the warehouse
  • Pour ingredients into mixing equipment as required
  • Arrange and place bags onto shelves and designated storage areas
  • Remove filled bags from the production line
  • Build skids for customer orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing facility
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating both Counterbalance and Reverse Crown Reach forklifts
  • Valid forklift licence/certification
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 kg (approximately 55 lbs.) regularly and up to 70 lbs. as required
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Must be able to successfully complete required Criminal and Public Safety Checks
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE, including an N95 respirator, for the duration required by the position
  • Must be willing and able to maintain a clean-shaven face where required to ensure the proper seal and safe use of respiratory protective equipment
Equipment Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience operating:
  • Counterbalance forklift
  • Reverse Crown Reach forklift
Work Conditions
  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Regular lifting and material-handling duties
  • PPE must be worn as required, including N95 respirators where applicable
  • Employees required to wear tight-fitting respiratory protection must meet applicable fit and facial-hair requirements
  • Full-time day-shift availability is required
