Position: Line Operator
Address: 271 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke, ON
Shift: Afternoon shift; 03:00PM- 11:30PM & Night Shift 11PM - 7:30AM
Job Type: Full-Time

Hiring Requirements:
As a Line Operator at Bimbo Bakehouse, you will be:
  • Read, understand, and execute the daily production schedule.
  • Coordinate, organize, and assign tasks to associates working on the production line.
  • Verify floor batch timing to ensure bread is ready for packaging.
  • Set and verify process line control parameters to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Monitor line controls continuously to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Monitor dough weights to ensure products remain within specification.
  • Accurately complete production documentation, including quantities produced and waste records, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all mechanical line moving parts are operating as expected and promptly report malfunctions or potential mechanical failures to the supervisor.
  • Communicate regularly with the Supervisor and Oven Leads regarding dough condition, production volume, and line issues.
  • Follow and comply with all operational, safety, quality assurance, GMP, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including cleaning equipment, tools, containers, and dollies; sweeping and mopping floors; and removing trash.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including day, afternoon, or night shifts, as required.
