Job description

Daily you will be expected to safely and successfully lead shift production; onboard/train new employees, cross-train/develop existing employees, ensure production line equipment operating properly; trouble-shoot and correct equipment related issues; as well as preform both preventative and corrective equipment maintenance. What you'll do in this role: Maintain a safe and productive work environment and ensure employees follow all safety policies and procedures. Successfully lead shift production team to meet/exceed budget.

Record and track both hourly production and associated downtime root causes. Ensure shift production team is properly trained, understand accountabilities and equipped for success. Work effectively with production team to resolve personnel issues while partnering Plant Management.

Effectively troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment issues. Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure equipment is capable of meeting expected production throughput rates and quality specifications.

Seek ways to improve equipment productivity and efficiency: yield, rate, and uptime. Assist with the organization and management of all maintenance equipment/supplies. Notify Lead Maintenance Technician of any equipment related issues or problems.

Notify site Management of any production related issues or problems. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. (The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.

They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, and additional responsibilities will be assigned) Requirements High School Diploma or GED, required. Minimum 2 years production shift lead experience in a manufacturing /industrial environment, required. Minimum 2 years maintenance experience performing equipment, mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing /industrial environment, required.

Forklift and Skid Steer experience preferred. Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of machinery and tools used, including welding equipment and electrical work.

Working knowledge and experience with a CMMS system. Ability to solve problems in a timely, professional manner. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency.

Excellent detail, organizational and follow-through skills. Understanding of OSHA regulations and implementation of safety regulations. Strong willingness to work hard, reliable, attentive and attention to detail.
