We are seeking Line Cook to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The RoleWe are looking for Line Cook to support and report directly into the Executive Sous Chef. This is a fast-moving business, so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once.
Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator who is a team player and detail-oriented is a must to ensure a uniquely brilliant culinary experience is received by members and guests.
Essential Functions
  • Set up, maintain and clean station according to Company and local regulated guidelines
  • Prepare all food items to recipe and as trained to ensure consistent product is served for our members globally
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Company
  • Restock all items as needed throughout shift
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills
  • Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
  • Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 + years of experience in a fast-paced and professional environment
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume and food forward restaurant
  • Proven success of "champion of the culture," facilitating excellent communication and engagement
  • Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
  • Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
  • Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
  • Must be able to use step ladder.
