Job Title: Manual PrePack Production Associate

Job Description

This role focuses on manual prepack operations in a fast-moving, high-volume production environment handling small plastic bricks and associated parts. You will work on an assembly line to manually place parts into bags and boxes, operate and support production line equipment, and help maintain consistent, high-quality output. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks at speed, and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manually place small parts into bags and packaging at a designated workstation, ensuring the correct pieces are included in each pack.
  • Work on an assembly line to assemble boxes, including handling instructions, parts, and constructing the physical box.
  • Stand or sit for 12-hour shifts while performing repetitive tasks in a shoulder-to-shoulder assembly line environment.
  • Operate and support all positions on the assigned production line, including manual prepack, end-of-line work, and palletizing materials.
  • Keep machines in good working condition by following basic operational procedures and supporting cleaning and maintenance activities as directed.
  • Maintain a tidy, clean, and organized work area in accordance with 5S and other housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production reporting for the assigned line, including performance measures and output tracking.
  • Meet standard hourly production results and maintain a constant flow of product through the line with minimal unplanned downtime.
  • Perform quality inspections and checks to ensure products meet defined quality standards and requirements.
  • Report any quality issues, detected failures, or nonconformities promptly to help ensure compliance with quality expectations.
  • Participate in line operation reporting activities, including TPM, 5S, quality assessments, line release audits, and related documentation.
  • Support changeovers by assisting with line adjustments, material changes, and setup for new products or packaging runs.
  • Assist with machine cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and preparation of equipment to support continuous production.
  • Handle small parts consistently and accurately, maintaining speed and dexterity to meet timed production expectations.
  • Load full boxes onto pallets and move materials as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs when palletizing.
  • Rotate through different positions on the line as scheduled, including periods of standing, sitting, and working at the end of the line.
  • Work within a performance-measured environment where output, quality, and efficiency are tracked and evaluated.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers, contributing to a positive team environment and strong communication across the line.
  • Follow all safety, cleanliness, and dress code requirements, including restrictions on personal items and adherence to facility rules.
  • Participate in training and development activities, learning more automated processes after conversion from contract to direct hire.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in production, packaging, or manufacturing environments, including experience with production lines, warehouse production, or general labor in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience with packaging, labeling, and warehouse packing or order packing.
  • Familiarity with production equipment operation and supporting tasks such as machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
  • Experience performing quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet defined standards.
  • Exposure to structured production methodologies such as TPM, 5S, quality audits, and line release audits.
  • Comfort working in an environment with crisp, constant performance measures and minimal downtime.
  • Ability to adapt to rotating responsibilities on a single line, including standing, sitting, and end-of-line palletizing tasks.
  • Willingness to be timed on production output and to work toward meeting or exceeding standard hourly production results.
  • Availability to work a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift on a 3-2-2-3 type of schedule (12-hour shifts with rotating days).
  • Preference for candidates who have maintained jobs for 1–2 years before moving on, demonstrating consistent tenure.
  • Comfort working without personal electronic devices, jewelry, or other restricted items on the production floor.
  • Openness to learning more automated processes after the initial contract period and conversion to direct employment.

Why Work Here?

You will join a culture built on the belief that only the best is good enough, with a strong emphasis on product quality, safety, and operational excellence.
