Role Overview:
The Material Handler (Inventory Control Specialist) is responsible for all facets of inventory, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of products within the facility under general supervision.
Work Environment: On-site
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
  • Locates Materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Conveying purchasing requirements and keeping data on the availability of products in short supply.
  • Communicate effectively with the Manufacturing Manager and Materials Manager to coordinate kits and identify shortages.
  • Picking up material from receiving and safely transport inventory to next step, ensuring proper storage.
  • Kitting material and work orders to deliver to manufacturing floor.
  • Ensuring Inventory accuracy within the inventory they are responsible for.
  • Cycle counting to ensure physical counts match ERP system.
  • Inventory rack and shelf management, including bin structure.
  • Cleanliness of inventory locations, including labeling of bins/racks.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Forklift Certification is a plus.

Pay range: $18 - $21/hour
Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
