Job description

Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing, managing, and maintaining Inventory, warehouse and shipping & receiving functions. This includes building a support structure for the department to ensure an accurate and timely flow of goods and materials through the Praxis supply chain - goods receipt, production support, inventory control, and shipping logistics. This position works with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs and Praxis SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed.
Responsibilities
E Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all inventory stored at Praxis is organized and maintained properly.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy at 98% or higher.
  • Analyze data obtained and record results; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action.
  • Ensure accuracy of production reporting by performing analysis of data entry and cycle count or physical inventory results. Implement procedures to deliver accurate reporting.
  • Provide Scheduler with reports specifying inventory valuation, adjustments required and explanations for variances and adjustments.
  • Ensure that raw materials, pallets and packing are available for scheduled production.
  • Direct and supervise staff and supervisors including; designating work assignments, providing instruction, coaching and reviewing completed work.
  • Establish annual department and individual performance goals.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication with Praxis customers.
  • Annually review training programs, content, curriculum, recertification, etc. to ensure all employees are knowledgeable in company procedures.
  • Ensure that proper training, controls and disciplines are in place, which includes maintaining, or creating as necessary, all SOPs relating to inventory control and production reporting.
  • Generate and distribute a monthly slow moving/obsolete and hold/rework inventory report with Scheduler to eliminate inventory under these classifications.
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules.
  • Verify time cards daily and ensure they are complete by payroll deadline (or earlier if needed due to holiday schedule).
  • Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Supervises a diverse workforce of 30-45 Warehouse Employees (directly or indirectly).
  • Assists Human Resources with interviewing and managing performance.
  • Ensures employees are trained according to their roles.
  • Addresses complaints and problems, elevates to Leadership when needed.
  • Ensures proper PPE's and Safety procedures are followed.
  • Instills a sense of quality through modeled quality behaviors and mindset.

Qualifications
K Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree, required or equivalent combination.
  • 5-7 years of Warehouse experience required.
  • Supervision experience required.
  • Experience in managing various levels of employees with different educational backgrounds, work style habits, and employment histories.

Pay Range
