I'm currently recruiting a Production Manager for a well-established manufacturer of engineered products. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization where operational excellence, continuous improvement and leadership play a key role.
You'll lead a major assembly operation while driving performance and supporting the site's ongoing transformation.

Mission

Reporting to the Vice President, CME & Brand Operations, you will lead the assembly operations for a department of approximately 150 employees across day and evening shifts. Through your team of production supervisors, you'll ensure operations run safely, efficiently and on schedule while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Leading daily assembly operations to meet production, quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD) objectives.
-Adjusting production schedules and balancing labor, equipment and materials to meet changing priorities.
-Working closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality and Industrial Engineering to maintain an efficient production flow.
-Driving Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimize manufacturing processes.
-Monitoring key operational KPIs, including output, efficiency, downtime, quality and delivery performance, and reporting results to senior leadership.
-Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) while promoting a strong health and safety culture.
-Coaching, developing and supporting production supervisors in employee performance, workforce planning and day-to-day operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, coordinating multiple teams and delivering measurable improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your profile

Your Profile:
-Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Proven experience managing production supervisors and large manufacturing teams.
-Background in assembly, discrete manufacturing or high-mix production.
-Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S and Root Cause Analysis; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an asset.
-Solid understanding of production planning and manufacturing KPIs.
-Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
-Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve quickly.
-Professional proficiency in both French and English.
