Sourcing & Production Director Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Production Director to lead end-to-end sourcing, production, and supply chain operations for a leading apparel manufacturer. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing vendor selection, global sourcing strategies, production planning, quality assurance, and onโ€‘time delivery across multiple product categories.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in apparel manufacturing, global sourcing, and production management, with a proven ability to negotiate with overseas vendors, optimize supply chain operations, and collaborate across design, product development, and sales teams to deliver highโ€‘quality products while maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end sourcing and production process from vendor selection through final shipment.
  • Identify and develop new factory partnerships across multiple countries to support manufacturing opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, production capacity, delivery schedules, and quality standards with overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and assign production based on quality, reliability, cost, capacity, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Sales teams to ensure product execution meets customer expectations and profitability goals.
  • Oversee production calendars, capacity planning, and delivery timelines to ensure onโ€‘time order fulfillment.
