What are production design internships?

Production design internships are short-term, hands-on training opportunities where students or recent graduates assist professional production designers in the creation of visual elements for film, television, theater, or other media. Interns typically help with set construction, sourcing props, creating mood boards, and collaborating with directors and other departments to bring the creative vision to life. These internships offer practical experience, industry networking, and insight into the daily responsibilities of a production designer, making them valuable for those pursuing a career in art or design within the entertainment industry.

This internship provides a great opportunity to learn industry-standard workflows and gain practical experience while contributing to real productions.
