Their role is essential for ensuring that a production runs smoothly, stays on budget, and meets deadlines. Production Coordinators often serve as the central point of contact on set, helping to solve problems as they arise.

What does a production coordinator do?

A production coordinator manages and coordinates a film or television production crew. Their job responsibilities are to supervise production assistants, coordinate scheduling, and track billing. The production manager often gives them additional tasks. A production coordinator splits their time between the set and the production office.
