Job description

Position Summary We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our pioneering team in creating animated content using experimental GenAI-native production pipelines. This Production Coordinator will work with the Production Manager and other production staff to support a fast-paced, experimental animation production process, leveraging both generative AI and traditional tools to create feature-quality content in a creator- and artist- led environment. Through production tracking, and coordination, the Production Coordinator is responsible for keeping the project on schedule from pre-production through post-production, while supporting the development of new workflows and adapting to rapidly evolving technology.

Our ideal candidate schedules, tracks, and communicates with efficiency and ease. This role will support teams of artists through production deliverables. Key Responsibilities Support and track artist assignments, working with the Production Manager to manage timelines.

Ensure that artists and crew have the materials needed to complete their work. Serve as a primary source of information for artists; have regular check-ins with artists (virtually and in-person), and build strong, trusting relationships with the crew. Ensure artists understand how to use new workflows within the broader pipeline, escalating training or tooling needs to Production and Tech teams as appropriate.

Coordinate reviews, including setting agendas and ensuring timely approvals. Organize and track deliveries of review materials and assets to stakeholders. Coordinate and maintain tracking tools to monitor deliverables and resources.

Create and maintain workflow documentation for processes and tools as they evolve. Collaborate with tech teams to implement tools and document crew learnings. Ensure the crew operates within approved parameters (schedule, scope, quality, and tool usage guidelines) and elevate potential problems or delays to the Production Manager or Producer, along with proposed course-correction options.

Work closely with the Production Manager in analyzing reports to ensure the crew is on schedule, planned productivity is achieved, and vulnerabilities in the workflow are identified. Coordinate shot and sequence breakdowns and maintain FlowPT configurations. Work with Production Manager and technical team members to configure and maintain FlowPT for your show; troubleshoot and solve GenAI-native workflow challenges, and refine and improve processes.

Train other coordinators and assistants as needed. Help document crew learnings and best practices so INK workflows can be improved on future shows. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Production Assistant or Production Coordinator on CG feature films, episodic series, or short-form animated content, or related experience. Working knowledge of asset and shot tracking systems, preferably FlowPT, with openness to supporting GenAI/traditional hybrid workflows in those tools. Experienced in Google Suite (preferred) and/or Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with traditional and GenAI creative tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to lead with a positive attitude and encourage collaboration across artists, production, and technology teams.

Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management skills. Self-starter with a proactive approach and curiosity for emerging production methodologies. This job is based in the US.

At INK, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $32.69-38.46 an hour

This reflects total compensation; we do not have bonuses. Inkubator benefits can include medical/dental/vision plans, mental health support, retirement programs, and family-forming benefits, paid leave of absence programs, and paid time away programs to be used for vacation and sick paid time off. Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.

If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner. We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully.
