PRODUCTION CONTROL CLERK

JOB SUMMARY

At TeamGov, Inc., the Production Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining and optimizing production schedules, coordinating materials and resources, and supporting the timely delivery of products. This role plays a vital part in helping the production team meet operational goals, maintain accurate records, and respond effectively to customer demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production Scheduling: Create and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, achievement of production targets, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

2. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw materials, components, and finished goods. Coordinate material orders as needed to prevent shortages and excess inventory.

3. Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, quality control, and other departments to coordinate workflow and support the timely completion of production activities.

4. Data Entry: Record and maintain production data, including quantities produced, work hours, and materials used. Ensure records are accurate and available for reporting and analysis.

5. Material Handling: Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute materials to the production team. Ensure materials are available when needed and stored appropriately.

6. Quality Control Support: Assist with quality control procedures by verifying that products and materials meet established specifications and standards.

7. Communication: Communicate production schedule changes, material concerns, delays, or other issues affecting production to relevant team members and management.

8. Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on production progress, inventory levels, and other relevant operational metrics as required.

9. Problem-Solving: Identify production-related issues, workflow constraints, or bottlenecks and assist in resolving them promptly to minimize disruptions.

10. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of production orders, work instructions, inventory activity, and related documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, training, or relevant certification is a plus.

·  Prior experience in production control, materials management, manufacturing support, or a related field is preferred.

·  Proficiency with production management software, spreadsheets, and related business tools.

·  Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.

·  Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

·  Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
