Manufacturing Coordinator-C shift (7pm-7am)
BASIC POSITION DUTIES: This position will support the molding and assembly manufacturing department by providing supervision to leaders, setups, operators. Oversees all daily activities and reporting. Responds to safety, quality and productivity issues and any abnormal situations. Works with all departments as needed such as QA, production control, maintenance, engineering, etc.
  • Ensure safe work environment.
  • Manage personnel records, including but not limited to the following:
  • Absence, attendance calendars and records
  • Corrective action activity and review
  • Conduct work compliance audits, follow up on and manage any non-compliance issues
  • New/revised work instruction or any required documentation acknowledgements
  • Initiate associate status change and SARS submissions
  • Manage production records, including but not limited to the following:
  • Manufacturing set up and check sheets
  • 3S/3D/5S activity
  • Backtracks and abnormals
  • CTR documentation
  • Rainbow activities
  • Able to ensure accurate data entry for required items such as:
  • Assembly daily reports
  • TPS redlight reports
  • Assembly setup reports
  • Scrap reports
  • Etc.
  • Manage and control production floor operations, including but not limited to the following:
  • Conduct shift meetings to ensure proper communication of production activities and plan
  • Knowledge and understanding of work centers, production plan and shop orders
  • Ability to utilize all resources available to carry out the production plan
  • Clear understanding of warehouse, JIT and kanban operations and ability to monitor, and ensure product flow
  • Support the disposition of product in OZ areas
  • Ensure shift to shift communication is carried out daily
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions and provide direction to associates in order to ensure safe, quality focused, and productive environment.
  • Monitor production floor, scrap area, pre-dryer and off line regrind areas for PK cleanliness and safety
  • All other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma, GED or Technical Certificate with 1-3 years experience working in hourly plant operations.
  • Leadership experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer skills are preferred- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • A willingness to complete training in EMS Response
  • Must maintain a valid forklift license
