Job description

The Production Coordinator's role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of production activities within the Electrical Department. This includes managing production schedules, material availability, and workflow optimization to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency. This position serves as a key link between engineering, procurement, and production, driving data-driven decisions and proactive issue resolution.
Requirements
• Develop, maintain, and track detailed production schedules to meet project deadlines
• Monitor project progress and proactively adjust plans to address delays or constraints
• Ensure all required materials are available and aligned with production needs
• Utilize MRP/ERP systems to plan, track, and control material flow across purchasing, warehousing, and production
• Analyze inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to prevent shortages or excess
• Coordinate with engineering to verify and validate drawings and BOM accuracy
• Track key performance metrics (on-time delivery, production efficiency, inventory accuracy, supplier performance)
• Identify risks in production flow and implement corrective actions
• Resolve production and material issues; escalate complex challenges as needed
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and control processes
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility to leadership
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (planning, scheduling, and inventory control)
• Advanced planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, supply chain, and production

Preferred:

Minimum Experience Required
• 5 + years of experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
Preferred Education & Certifications
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
