Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for federal construction projects in Lakehurst, NJ. The role involves managing quality control processes across multiple federal DB and DBB construction projects. The manager will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and tracking submittals and utilizing the USACE-established three phases of control for all definable features of work. Generating the CQC plan is also a crucial responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality control for federal DB and DBB construction projects.
  • Review, process, and track submittals.
  • Utilize USACE-established three phases of control for all definable features of work.
  • Generate and implement the CQC plan.
  • Coordinate project activities including site development and renovations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employees, managers, and project partners.
  • Conduct inspections, documentation, and reporting.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or 20 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years full-time experience as a Quality Control Manager.
  • Construction Quality Management For Contractors certification.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as RMS, eCMS, Procore, P6, MS Project.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general construction practices including renovations, new construction, site development, and excavation.
  • Experience with inspections, documentation, and reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain access to military installations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
