The Engineering Rapid Build Services department is seeking a Planning Production Control Specialist (PCS) who will work with multiple organizations and roles to manage and forecast the procurement deliveries, hurdles, and material receipt for engineering electrical and mechanical hardware builds and capital purchases. The PCS will monitor and expedite Supply Chain activities associated with the fabrication of prototype assemblies.

This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and insuring items are delivered to meet customers’ schedules. The PCS will continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities and report this information to multiple requesting organizations. 

This is an onsite position based in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do

  • Resolve procurement issues

  • Maintain contact with the supply base, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule requirements are met

  • Participate in the procurement, management, and disposition of material required for engineering development.

  • Organization, prioritization and scheduling of tasks associated with hardware procurement in conjunction with Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), Responsible Engineering Authority (REA’s), internal or external manufacturing facilities

  • Keep others within Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Property, and Program Management informed of progress.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

  • Previous experience with material planning, scheduling or forecasting

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning System (MRP)

  • Familiarity with Contractor Acquired Material (CAM) policies and requirements

  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
