Quality Control Associate - Injection Molding - 3rd Shift, Sunday night - Friday morning: 11pm - 7:30am

We are currently seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Control Associate for our Austell, Georgia, manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will perform inspections, testing and documentation activities to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.


Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Associate to work with minimal supervision in our high-volume manufacturing and assembly operation.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of molded products.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, and scales.
  • Perform pressure testing, pull testing, and other quality verification activities.
  • Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns.
  • Document inspection and testing results accurately.
  • Identify and segregate nonconforming material.
  • Monitor scrap and rejected product.
  • Communicate quality issues to Production and Quality Management.
  • Complete quality reports and shift turnover documentation.
  • Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.
  • Experienced in using precision measuring equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine), calipers and gauges.
  • The ability to interpret drawings and other "First Article" requirements.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
  • Highly organized with faultless attention to detail.
  • The ability to learn quickly and be able to work productively to tight deadlines without direct supervision.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.


Physical Demands

  • Must be able to detect small part numbers from a reasonable distance.
  • Repetitive motions that may use wrists, hands, and/or fingers on a consistent basis.
  • This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.


Role Details:

Full-time, on-site in Austell, GA

Pay: $21 - $23 per hour including shift differential
