What this role is all about:

We are looking for Production Associates in New Lisbon, WI.

Schedule Options:

  • 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM
  • 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

The Production Associate performs all tasks involved in the production of Mill Haven Foods' products; ensuring safe and efficient production by following standard work methods and practices.

Lifting requirements vary by position:

  • The Production Associate - Retail frequently handles bags of product between 1-20 lbs. and occasionally handle bags of product between 21-50 lbs.
  • The Production Associate - Bulk frequently handles bags of product that are at least 25 kg. (55.115 lbs.).

Job Duties Vary by Position:

  • Responsible for food safety and quality
  • Supplied MHF dress code policy: bump cap, hair net, beard net, eye protection, uniforms, captive footwear
  • Forklift Operation (In house training)
  • Working in a small team environment
  • Visual inspection of materials/supplies
  • HMI touch screen equipment control system
  • Dump pre-made batches of products into appropriate equipment
  • Working with primarily bags/occasionally super sack totes
  • Validate weight and send through heat sealer
  • Complete all required documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements
  • Computer tasks: complete necessary paperwork pre/post run to ensure all documentation requirements are met
  • Follow processes/procedures in place for traceability
  • Validate batch blending to specification
  • May have contact with federal/state/regulatory inspectors on an annual basis
  • Operate filler, check weigher, and weigh- up scale; for verification of correct fill weight
  • Ensure scoops, enclosures, lids, and packaging are all completed to customer specifications
  • Maintain inventory controls through proper documentation
  • Maintain a clean working area by performing general sanitation of all packaging equipment
  • Place scoops in cans/jars/buckets and place lids on cans/jars/buckets
  • Stack bags/cans of product as it comes off the various production lines
  • Seal bags/cans of product as it comes off the various production lines
  • Bag product as it comes off the various production lines
  • Dump bags of product into appropriate equipment on the various production lines
  • Sample product on various production lines as required
  • Operate boxing machine
  • Palletize product as it comes off the various production lines
  • Train new production line workers on all lines
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Safety Protocol:
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards
  • Support safety policies and programs
