Production Team Members – Now Hiring | States Industries

Ready for something new? We’re growing our production team at States Industries.

We have several openings across our Eugene mill and are looking for dependable, hardworking people who want to learn, contribute, and be part of a team.

You don’t need to come in knowing everything about hardwood plywood manufacturing. We can teach you the job and help you build your skills. What we’re really looking for are people with great attitudes—people who show up ready to work, take pride in what they do, support the people around them, and are willing to go above and beyond to help the team succeed.

What You Can Expect

Manufacturing at States is fast-paced, hands-on work, and every position plays an important role in keeping our operation moving. Depending on your experience and interests, opportunities may be available in areas such as:

  • Putty
  • Dryers
  • Spreaders
  • Cleanup
  • Banding
  • Press
  • Sanders
  • Warehouse
  • Prefinish

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required
  • Learn and perform a variety of positions across the production process
  • Read and interpret putty color charts, material grades, production lists, and load tickets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area (housekeeping)
  • Support and participate in 5S and Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively to achieve Safety, Production, and Quality goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Utilize basic computer skills as needed for job functions
