Job description

Summary
The Production Associate - Quality & Logistics plays a key role in supporting daily operations through quality control inspections, production scheduling, inventory coordination, and warehouse activities. This position helps ensure products move efficiently through the organization while maintaining the high standards of quality and service our customers expect.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, learn new systems, and communicate effectively across departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Inspect string instruments and related products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming, in-process, and completed products.
  • Coordinate and maintain production schedules to support workflow efficiency and on-time completion of work orders.
  • Monitor work order progress and communicate schedule changes or delays to appropriate team members.
  • Pick materials and components required for production activities.
  • Perform light material handling and inventory movement within the facility.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, including cycle counts, inventory audits, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize NetSuite and other company systems to enter, update, and maintain operational, inventory, and production-related information.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across Operations, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other departments.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control, inventory, and production activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and routine onsite attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Passion for music and some experience with musical instruments preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to follow established processes and instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, inventory control, quality control, or production environments.

  • Knowledge of string instruments is helpful but not required.
