Position Overview

Lead and coordinate production activities in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while supervising production teams, driving workforce performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team of production employees.
  • Oversee daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Coordinate activities with maintenance, quality, and operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot production, equipment, and personnel issues.
  • Train employees and support continuous improvement efforts.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in cement, aggregates, mining, or similar industrial operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, MSHA, or comparable industrial safety standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required ATF licensing for handling detonators used in plant operations.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.

Work Environment

  • Work in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility.
  • Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent walking, climbing, and work around industrial processes.
  • Support rotating production crews in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform physical job requirements.
