They have been delivering premium dried fruit, nuts, trail mixes, candies and other snacks since January of 1987. Today the company operates out of Seattle WA and is seeking a Production Associate for our Nature World production team.

Job Description
The Schedule
Monday - Friday: 5:30 AM - 2PM
Holidays/weekends and OT to be expected
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Meets daily with supervisor to discuss daily duties such as location, area, aisle to be assigned to and worked. Maintain warehouse stock as requested by shipping as well as our warehouse inventory management program. Picking and receiving product as needed. Operators will be responsible for checking quality on product going into stock as well as assuring product is safely placed into inventory.
Assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items. We are a company that deals with dehydrated fruit, produce, nuts, and other snack foods. Due to this nut dust is in the air and a possible inhalant.
  • Packaging
  • Running the label machine
  • Refilling labels
  • Adjustments of rails
  • Adjustments of head heights
  • Label placement on tubs
  • Label corrections
  • Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling
  • Additional tasks as they are assigned

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Successful completion of application process
  • Must be able to pass drug and background check
  • Has good personal hygiene practices
  • Must have reliable form of transportation
  • Must be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
  • Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
  • Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales
  • Able to work in fast paced work environment
  • Able to work with a small team
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50lb cases
  • Must be able to stand for long lengths of time
  • The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard.
  • Ability to safely work with and around nuts.
