Job description

Essential Job Functions
  • Operate industrial equipment safely and productively.
  • Lead/monitor processes and investigate causes of defects.
  • Conduct visual inspection of products
  • Review procedures and processes and make adjustments as needed to improve operations.
  • Achieve operator certification in all functions worked
  • Train new hire production associates in the manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Regular attendance, report to work on time for all scheduled shifts, and complete all shifts.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Work with internal and external customers on quality issues.
  • Generate and maintain appropriate records as required.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as required by Supervisor or Team Lead.
  • Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions.
  • Work and participate in a team environment

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED required

Experience:
  • 1-2 years of machine operator experience in industrial manufacturing or equivalent required, 3+ preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Punctual and consistent attendance required
  • Able to work beyond required scheduled hours as needed
  • Works in a safe manner and in compliance with EHS polices and procedures
  • Be able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Ability to complete ongoing training and development
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts or alternate work schedules (depending on the Plant to which assigned)
  • Available to work afternoon shift or night shift
